Oldtimerservice Kranz – high expertise in classic car repairs

Restoration and maintenance of pre-war vehicles

Our workshop service – experienced, careful, reliable

In addition to sales, restoration and maintenance are at the heart of what we do. As a family-run specialist business with over 20 years of experience, we look after pre-war cars with a strong focus on engineering, authenticity and true drivability. Our workshop in Straelen focuses on not only preserving historic automobiles, but bringing them reliably back onto the road. Whether technical inspection, repairs or comprehensive restoration – each vehicle receives the attention it deserves.

Expert repairs based on our own motorsport experience

Pre-war cars have unique technical requirements. That is exactly where our strength lies: because we actively take part in rallies and historic racing, we know from first-hand experience what set-up, precision and durability a vintage car needs under real conditions. We apply this to every job – from routine servicing to complex engine and gearbox rebuilds.

Our modern workshop includes testing and measuring equipment tailored to the needs of these special vehicles. A rolling road, brake test bench, precision measuring tools, custom-made specialist parts and specialised tools help keep your car optimally set up and ready for use.

Clear communication you can rely on

For every job, you receive detailed documentation in words and photographs. We place great importance on clear communication and cooperation based on partnership – because with rare and historic vehicles, repairs are a matter of trust.

And if transporting your car is difficult, we’re happy to help: We work with specialist transport companies and can arrange safe transport to our workshop in Straelen – and back to you.
